what can this Master board do?
- control the block signal by the train automatically: it may control 2 aspects signal, 3 aspects signal or 4 aspects signal.
- use it with a slave board ( sell separately ), they may stop and restart the train before the turnouts.
- use it with a slave board ( sell separately ), they may stop and restart trains at the station; or use them as shuttle train controller.
- use it with the crossing signal sound board ( sell separately ) and the flasher board (sell separately ), crossing gate servo ( sell separately ), trigger them automatically by trains.
- turn on lights, point motors, tunnel lighting or other electrical device automatically by trains.

how they work:
the master board detects trains by bouncing invisible Infra-Red (IR) light off the underside of the rolling stock, or install it on track side, detecting the light reflected back. Once triggered by the train, the module runs built-programs. ( black surface will absorb most IR light, you may stick white tape under the train or use track side sensors )
one sensor is enough to detect if the long train clear the sensor or not.
1, to simulate the operation of 2-, 3- or 4-aspect signals.
signals normally show green. When the train passes the detector, the signal switches to red and keep red. Once the train has fully cleared the detector, the module switches the signal back to green (via delay red, yellow and double yellow if appropriate).
2, stop and restart train before the turnouts.
When the train passes the detector, the signal switches to red and keep red, the slave board will cut off power to the near tracks so that no train can get through the near tracks, Once the train has fully cleared the detector, the module switches the signal back to green (via delay red, yellow and double yellow if appropriate), and slave board power the near tracks again so that the near train can restart.
3, stop the train and restart it at station or let the train run back.
When the train trigger the detector, the slave board will cut off the power to the tracks and stop the train, after the set time, it will power the tracks again and the train will restart. Or run to another direction under shuttle mode.
4, trigger the crossing signals’ sound effect board, flasher board, gate servo or other devices
When the train passes the detector, the master board provide power to the sound board/flasher board, the servo rotate to pull off the arms for corssing gate after the warning sound, Once the train has fully cleared the detector, it cut off the power to them, the servo rotate reversing so that the arm return up, work for both directions.
